Ghajini, directed by Aamir Khan and released in 2008, became the first Hindi film to ever reach the Rs 100 crore club, marking a significant milestone in Bollywood. The film, which was directed by AR Murugadoss, was a remake of the same-titled Tamil movie. Aamir Khan's powerful performance earned him a lot of accolades. His love interest had been played by Asin. Thanks to its captivating plot, this psychological action thriller kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Fans are thrilled at the prospect of a sequel to Ghajini, which was released years ago.

When producer Allu Aravind, who was in Mumbai for the Hindi trailer debut of Naga Chaitanya's Thandel, said he would love to collaborate on the movie with Aamir Khan, it heightened fan excitement for Ghajini 2. The 2008 Bollywood remake's star, who was also in attendance, responded to Aravind's assertions with a gentle smile, demonstrating his interest.

Aamir Khan reprises Ghajini?

Producer Allu Arvind teased fans about Ghajini 2 during the Thandel marketing. Allu Arvind stated at the trailer premiere event for the film starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi said, "Ghajini is the first film to do Rs 100 crore. Now, Rs. 100 crore is equivalent to Rs 1000 crore. I want to make a Rs 1000 crore film with you (Aamir Khan), maybe Ghajini 2."

Given the way that ancient masterpieces are being brought back to life with sequels—Gadar 2, Border 2, and other favourites are becoming franchises—many people conjectured that the sequel will indeed materialize. Allu Aravind has now provided clarification on his remarks regarding the issue. Bollywood Hungama said that Allu Arvind, the producer, denied the rumours. In his own words, "I was kidding with him (Aamir)." As a result, such rumours may be dismissed because Aamir Khan will not be playing Ghajini again anytime soon.

Laal Singh Chaddha was Aamir's most recent appearance. Kareena Kapoor Khan also starred in the film, which was a box-office failure. With his eagerly awaited film Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir will make his big-screen comeback after a brief hiatus. In addition, Aamir will produce Lahore 1947, which will star Sunny Deol. In order to promote his son Junaid Khan's theatrical debut with Loveyapa, the actor has been incredibly busy. It's interesting to note that Aamir also had a brief appearance in the movie.
