A group of BMC and forest department representatives were seen at Shah Rukh Khan's lavish Mumbai residence, Mannat, following a complaint from an activist over an unlawful building. They were looking for any infractions after an activist filed a complaint, according to a Times of India story.

Following a complaint alleging a violation of the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ), officials from the forest department and Mumbai's civic authority, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), visited actor Shah Rukh Khan's seafront home, "Mannat," according to reports today. According to sources, the officials inspected the actor's Bandra Bandstand house to see if any development had been done there without the required authorisation.

Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat Rennovation Update:

Currently under reconstruction is Mannat, which consists of a multi-story extension and a heritage cottage. Officials who came for inspection were greeted by the actor's crew, who had temporarily moved to a nearby home on Pali Hill with his family. They gave officials their word that all necessary renovation permits and associated paperwork would be properly filed.

The actor has temporarily moved out and is now residing in a duplex residence in Khar, which is roughly ten minutes from Mannat, with his wife, Gauri Khan, and their three kids, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. Shah Rukh Khan purchased Mannat, a magnificent historic home that was built in 1914, in 2001.

Even Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh's manager, denied any illicit activity. She stated, "There are no complaints. All work is going on as per guidelines." According to the BMC sources, a report is being created following the inspection, and if any violations are discovered, notices will be delivered to the relevant parties. The Indian Government established the 'Coastal Regulation Zone' (CRZ) regulations to discourage unauthorised construction along the coast and to preserve the natural equilibrium of the ecosystem.
