Stree 3: Rajkummar Rao's wife Patralekhaa joins horror-comedy verse?

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film Stree 2 has become the biggest and most profitable Hindi film in Bollywood history. It was helmed by Amar Kaushik, and since its August 15 theatrical debut, it has performed incredibly well at the box office. The horror comedy, which is a follow-up to the 2018 film Stree, also features Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi. With the success of the sequel, fans are eager for news on Stree 3.

If you've seen the film, you are aware that there are several unanswered questions about Stree 2. The good news is that a story for the third installment has already been prepared, as verified by Dinesh Vijan and Stars. However, the question arises what if a different woman was requested to star in the follow-up? What would happen if Patralekhaa, the actress and real-life partner of Rajkummar Rao, was cast in Stree 3? 

Stree 3 to welcome new cast?

During an interview with Filmgyan, Patralekhaa was asked if she will work with Rajkummar Rao on Stree 3. The Citylights actress declared up front that she will not be a part of the horror-comedy franchise because Shraddha Kapoor was already involved. The cast, which included Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, was complimented by the actress. According to her, Stree's universe is predetermined.

However, we would adore seeing Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao together once more on the big screen. Right now, the actress is appreciating the praise she is receiving for her role in the Netflix series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. Starring alongside Vijay Varma are Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, Naseeruddin Shah, and others.
