With a U/A 13+ certificate, the upcoming romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which stars Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf, has been officially approved for distribution. After recommending a few changes to the filmmakers, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) approved the film.
The term 'guard' has been muted anywhere it appears, according to Bollywood Hungama. It comes up in a scenario where Sunny, Varun's character, uses a disparaging term and then says he meant to say "guard." Additionally, the makers were required to incorporate an anti-alcohol static warning, and the CBFC has removed 60% of the kissing scenes.
According to the censor certificate, the movie lasts for 135.45 minutes, which is 2 hours, 15 minutes, and 45 seconds. In addition to Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma, the film was directed by Shashank Khaitan.
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Movie Certification:
During the promotional tour, the movie has already generated considerable buzz. A life-size cutout of Sanya Malhotra was brought on stage to humorously recognise the actor's absence during the trailer premiere ceremony in Mumbai on September 15. Reservations, meanwhile, have started steadily.
Approximately 9,200 tickets had been sold by Monday, according to reports from big national chains. Before the day of release, industry insiders predict that the number of tickets will reach 50,000, with opening receipts estimated to be between ₹10.50 and ₹12.50 crore. How well the movie does during the holiday weekend will determine a lot of its success.
On October 2, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will face off against Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1 in the theatre. A fan confronted Varun directly about the fight during a recent #Varunsays session on X (previously Twitter), asking, "Kantara se darr nahi lag raha? (Are you not afraid of Kantara?)"
Varun replied to this, "Release date toh production wale set karte hain. Par hum buss apni film pe mehnat kar rahe hain aur logo ko hassane ki koshish. I wish Oct 2nd, everyone is laughing and smiling and celebrating (Release dates are decided by the production team. We're just focused on working hard on our film and trying to make people laugh)"
