The first four Harry Potter movies will be coming back to theatres throughout the country in 2025, giving fans another opportunity to experience the magic on the big screen. So get ready to dust off your wands and step back into the Wizarding World. A unique touch of magic will be added this time around, though, as a few screenings will be offered in immersive formats like 3D and 4DX, bringing the cherished fantasy series to new platforms while still appealing to the same audiences who have enjoyed it for years.
In addition to commemorating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's first release in 2005, the films will be screened in order across three weekends, from Thursday through Sunday. Apart from Harry Potter, fans will also get to see several other re-releases. Check out the list below.
Exciting Re-Releases in February 2025:
1. Moonlight:
As of right now, the Rotten Tomatoes movie re-release calendar indicates that "Moonlight" will be re-released in India in February 2025, maybe in IMAX format.
2. Interstellar:
The eagerly anticipated re-release of the movie in India was finally revealed on Friday and will take place on February 7, 2025. The re-release commemorates the film's tenth anniversary and gives viewers another opportunity to experience the stunning sights on a large screen.
3. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone:
On February 13, 2025, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone will be re-released in theatres across the globe. A few theatres will screen the film in both 3D and 4DX models.
4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets:
On February 14, 2025, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be re-released in Indian theatres.
5. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban:
On February 15, 2025, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be re-released in American theatres following the re-release to India around the same dates.
6. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:
On February 16 and 23, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be re-released in Indian theatres. As part of a collaboration between Warner Bros. and Fathom Events, the re-release will coincide with the first three Harry Potter films.
