When is WPL 2025 starting? Know the new date

The WPL 2025 season is set to begin on February 7 with the final likely to be played on March 2. The window was decided reportedly in the BCCI's General Council meeting on Sunday. 

Mumbai Indians won the inaugural edition in 2023 while it was the Royal Challengers Bengaluru who won in 2024 and would begin WPL 2025 as defending champions. Delhi Capitals emerged as runners-up on both occasions under the leadership of Meg Lanning. 

Baroda, Lucknow. Mumbai and Bengaluru are the venues announced by the BCCI for the WPL 2025 season. The number of matches that would be played at each venue along with the whole schedule is reportedly expected later this month.
