Dwayne Bravo gives his golden boot to Andre Russell amid CPL 2024

Dwayne Bravo and Andre Russell, the all-rounder players for the Trinbago Knight Riders, shared a sentimental moment while watching the CPL (Caribbean Premier League) 2024. It went viral. A video that was posted by the Trinbago Knight Riders official account showed Dwayne Bravo giving Andre Russell his golden boots. 

Russell donned the unique boots in the video and batted in the nets while wearing them. He was also observed emphasizing how cozy they were. Bravo also emphasized the fact that, from one all-around player to another, he was passing Russell his boots.

Bravo remarked in the video, "Ladies and gentlemen, let me start with an all-around player." "I'm giving the general my boots. The picture was captioned by Trinbago Knight Riders, "Golden boots, from one all-rounder to another!” Russell said that he would also bowl while wearing the boots. The video has been widely circulated on social media.

In relation to the Trinbago Knight Riders, they are presently ranked third in the CPL 2024. The team has managed to win two and lose one of the three games they have played. With four points to their name, Knight Riders will try to earn some more wins and work their way up into the standings.

The team defeated the St. Lucia Kings in their most recent game with relative ease. Riders gave up 187 runs in the first inning while bowling first. With the intention of chasing the mark, captain Kieron Pollard led his team to victory by four wickets in 19.2 overs after scoring an outstanding half-century. 

The Barbados Royals and Trinbago Knight Riders will square off in their upcoming match. On September 14, both teams will square off in the tournament's fifteenth game at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
