ENG vs IND 2025: England vs India 5th Test Match Prediction, Fantasy Cricket

The way the batsmen battled on the fourth and fifth days of the previous test of the five-match series at Old Trafford would satisfy the Indian squad, and they would carry that confidence into the series finale.

The fifth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy between England (ENG) and India (IND) will begin on Thursday, July 31, at London's Kennington Oval. After managing a tie in the previous Test, the visitors maintained their chances of tying the series, which the hosts presently lead 2-1. After fighting for nearly two days, India made a tremendous effort to draw the fourth test in Manchester. The next four batters demonstrated remarkable tenacity from 0-2. India is still in the running to tie the series, and that has prevented a series loss. The Oval is the planned venue for the final game.

Dhurv Jurel will take Rishabh Pant's place for India, who will miss him greatly. Jasprit Bumrah is probably going to take a break. Anshul Kamboj and Shardul Thakur's forms will be a mystery. There is a very good likelihood that India will make four or five changes to their starting lineup. Prasidh Krishna, Akashdeep, and Kuldeep Yadav are probably going to play.

Kennington Oval Pitch Report:

The well-balanced pitch at Kennington Oval will make it difficult for the hitters to get started. With the new ball, there will be good movement and carry. It will be comfortable to bat on Days 3 and 4 as the game progresses. However, the bowlers will remain engaged due to the overhead circumstances. The second-highest test total of 903/7 has been recorded here, though, so batters may have a good time. Thirty games ended in favour of bowling first, but forty-two have been won by batting first.

Weather Forecast:

On the first two days of the test, there is a risk of light rain, according to the weather forecast. In the upcoming days, the temperature will peak at 20°C, the average humidity will be between 50 and 60 per cent, and the wind speed will be moderate, between 12 and 14 km/h.
