The University Oval in Dunedin will host the second Twenty20 International between Pakistan and New Zealand. Following their victory in Christchurch, the New Zealand squad is now leading and will feel secure heading into the next match on March 18, where they hope to increase their lead further.

A few months ago, the New Zealand cricket team's last Twenty20 International match was played at home against Sri Lanka. The "Black Caps" narrowly lost a difficult chase in the third game after winning the first two Twenty20 Internationals to complete the series. The cricket team from Pakistan is presently experiencing an unwelcome three-match losing skid. Before losing the third Twenty20 International in a thrilling final over, the "Men in Green" defeated Zimbabwe by decisive scores in Bulawayo back in December to win the series 2-0.

University Oval Pitch Report:

Christchurch's Hagley Oval is renowned for its quick and lively grounds. For the fast bowlers, this surface's tendency to stay covered in grass creates a lot of seam movement and bounce. In the last five Twenty20 International matches, the average first innings total has been 167. The ball comes onto the bat nicely, but pacers can also benefit greatly from the Hagley Oval pitch.
