Aamir Jamal, a bowler for Pakistan, came under fire after it was discovered that he and a number of other team members had broken the rules established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).  Here is the true reason why the talented bowler was hit with a hefty PKR 1.4 million fine. The reason for the disciplinary penalty was Jamal's choice to write the number "804" on his Test hat, which was seen as a political statement in favour of the imprisoned former Pakistani cricket player and prime minister Imran Khan.

According to Samaa TV, the PCB punished several players for violating the board's code of conduct, but Jamal was given the harshest penalty. Imran Khan's prison badge number is thought to be 804, and the PCB took a strong stand against him as a result of his show of support. Due to the board's belief that politics had no place in cricket, Jamal was also excluded from the Champions Trophy squad.

Pakistan Pacer Aamir Jamal Under Heat:

His exclusion from Pakistan's squad for the forthcoming Champions Trophy was partly due to the governing body's opinion that it was improper for athletes to carry political ties onto the field. Not just Jamal was subject to disciplinary punishment as a cricket player.

During Pakistan's tour to Australia last year, a number of Pakistani players, including Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, and Abdullah Shafique, were fined PKR 500,000 each for arriving late. Additionally, during Pakistan's recent trip to South Africa, Sufiyan Muqeem, Abbas Afridi, and Usman Khan were fined $200 apiece for similar violations of team protocols.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has reaffirmed that political gestures should not be allowed in cricket and has taken a strong stand on upholding discipline among the team. Meanwhile, Pakistan's maiden Twenty20 International match ended in a lopsided loss to New Zealand on Sunday, marking a disappointing comeback to action. The tourists were all out for 91 in 18.4 overs, their fifth-lowest total in T20 internationals, as the Pakistani batting collapsed against the Kiwi pace attack.
