The WPL 2025 final saw the Mumbai Indians Women win the championship after defeating the Delhi Capitals Women. The match took place on March 15, 2025, at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium. Marizanne Kapp made a spectacular start to the proceedings. After the first six overs, Delhi had Mumbai at 20/2 and in serious difficulty.
By the end of the seventh over of the match, Kapp had completed her four-over performance. In four overs, her stats showed an impressive 2/11. Hayley Matthews, who had just scored a game-winning 77, was removed cheaply. Only three of ten deliveries could be made by the West Indian.
