The Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI) square off in the WPL 2025 Final at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. While MI hopes to add another trophy to their cabinet, DC is looking for their first title. By winning the league stage, the Delhi Capitals advanced to their third consecutive WPL final. They had a higher net run rate than Mumbai and won five of their eight games. After losing the last two finals, DC will be eager to win the championship.
The Mumbai Indians earned a spot in the final by defeating the Gujarat Giants by 47 runs in the eliminator. To propel the score to 213, Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt both hammered 77 runs. Amelia Kerr took two wickets, while Matthews took three as well.
