After her game-winning efforts in the just-finished series against the West Indies at home, India's off-spinner Deepti Sharma moved up to the top 5 of the most recent ICC women's ODI bowlers ranking. After hitting 106 off 109 pitches in the second game, Matthews has moved up six spots to seventh place in the batting rankings, which is a career-best. The captain of the West Indies has risen two spots to eighth among bowlers.

With 665 rating points, Deepti, currently ranked fifth, is just behind Marizanne Kapp of South Africa, who is in fourth place (677 rating points). India finished the three-match series in Vadodara with a clean sweep thanks to the 27-year-old's eight wickets in two games, including 6/31 in the last encounter.

ICC Women's ODI Rankings update:

Off-spinner Sharma's game-winning six-for-31 in the final ODI helped her re-enter the top five in bowling, while her undefeated knocks of 44 and 39 moved her from 33rd to 30th place in the batting rankings in the most recent weekly rankings update that takes into account performances in the final two matches of the series. With series-high scores of 29 and 52, Jemimah Rodrigues (537 rating points) has advanced four ranks to 22nd among batters, putting her in the running for a top-20 ranking.

Chinelle Henry's half-century in the third ODI caused him to jump 21 ranks to 65th place (349 rating points), while the powerful Richa Ghosh (13 not out and 23 not out) has jumped seven spaces to 41st place (448 rating points). Despite scoring two half-centuries in the series, India's charismatic opener Smriti Mandhana (720 rating points) has fallen one spot to third position, behind South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt (773) and Chamari Athapaththu (733).

Harmanpreet Kaur, the captain, is now in 13th place after dropping three spots. The West Indies opener has risen six spots to sixth in the ICC Women's Batting Rankings thanks to Hayley Matthews' seventh ODI century in Vadodara.
