The Board was given an update on the status of the assistance for displaced women cricketers of Afghan heritage during the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Annual Conference in Singapore. Under the direction of ICC Deputy Chair Imran Khwaja, the ICC, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and Cricket Australia (CA) are working together to progress this initiative.

The ICC affirmed in a press release after the Annual Conference that the finals, which are scheduled for 2027–2031 in the British Isles, will continue to be held there. After hosting the first three finals in 2021, 2023, and earlier this summer in 2025, the nation where this sport originated will also host the finals for the next three years.
