On Thursday, December 26, Jasprit Bumrah, the top-ranked Test bowler in the world, defeated Travis Head with a spectacular delivery. In the current fourth Test match against India, Head, who has been in scorching form lately, stepped out to bat at No. 5 for the Baggy Greens but was unable to make an impression at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Throughout the series, the flashy batsman caused problems for the visitors. However, at the MCG, he misjudged the situation and elevated his bat, allowing Bumrah's inswinger to smash the top of the off stump. He left for a seven-ball duck, leaving Head bewildered.

Fans hail Jasprit Bumrah:

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, came under fire for failing to put in Bumrah against Head during the series. When the Australia international arrived, the top pacer from India was inserted, and he produced nearly instantly, so he didn't make the same error at MCG.

Interestingly, Rohit gave the cricketer an attacking field, which may have contributed to the batter's inability to open his tally in the middle. Bumrah celebrated lavishly with his Indian teammates after removing Head for a zero in the opening innings of the Boxing Day Test. The footage of his celebration is currently going viral online.

In the meantime, Bumrah, who had a difficult morning, recovered well in the day's third session. Sam Konstas, who was making his debut, disciplined him earlier in the day by slapping him all over the floor. The second batter from Australia to be removed by Bumrah was Head. In the second session of Day 1's play, Bumrah got rid of Usman Khawaja before capturing the valuable wicket of the left-handed batsman. After Khawaja scored 57 runs, KL Rahul caught him within the 30-yard circle.
