The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) declared on Friday that it will host India for a three-match ODI series that has been rescheduled for August and September. The BCB confirmed that Men in Blue's white-ball tour will include as many Twenty20 Internationals.
International calendar congestion and the practical difficulties faced by both countries were cited as the reasons for the postponement. Although it was stated that India would play Bangladesh in September, the precise dates of the games were revealed on Friday, January 2.
India’s White-Ball Tour Update:
The ODI matches will take place on September 1, 3, and 6. The Indian squad is currently expected to arrive in Bangladesh on August 28. Before the neighbours head back home, the T20Is will take place on September 9, 12, and 13. Bangladesh's home international schedule for the 2026 season was revealed by BCB on Friday. The schedule includes bilateral series in all three formats against Pakistan, New Zealand, India, Australia, and the West Indies.
In a statement, BCB stated, "The confirmed itinerary ensures a season full of international cricket in Bangladesh, providing supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home, while details of match venues will be announced in due course."
On March 9, Pakistan will travel to Bangladesh for a three-match ODI visit that will run from March 12 to March 16. Starting on April 17 and ending on May 2, New Zealand's white-ball tour of Bangladesh will begin with three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and as many Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
As part of the ICC World Test Championship Series, the Men in Green will play two Test matches. The dates of the first and second red-ball games are May 8–12 and May 16–20, respectively. Conversely, Australia's white-ball tour of Bangladesh starts on June 5 with three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), followed by a three-match Twenty20 International series scheduled for June 15–20.
