The Indian Premier League's (IPL 2025) season will feature Match 34 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host this game. In the last game, Punjab Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by a margin of 16 runs.

They will be confident after defending a target of 111 runs, the lowest total ever defended in IPL history. With four victories and two defeats from six games, they are presently ranked fourth in the standings. With four victories and two defeats from six games, Royal Challengers Bengaluru is ranked third in the standings. In their last game, they defeated the Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets. Interestingly, they have suffered two home losses this season.

Who can be the Impact Players for RCB vs PBKS?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB):

Swapnil Singh, the left-arm spinner, had a strong season the previous year. Lower in the order, he can also be useful with the bat. During the previous season, Swapnil took six wickets in seven games.

Suyash Sharma is a flexible eg-spinner who could be used if the situation calls for it. When he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in past editions, Suyash performed at Eden Gardens.

Mohit Rathee is a promising domestic all-round player who bowls leg-spin and bats in the middle order. In his last two domestic T20 games, Mohit has amassed 54 runs and claimed one wicket.

Punjab Kings (PBKS):

Should PBKS lose early wickets in the first innings, Nehal Wadhera can be utilised as an impact replacement.

If an additional overseas batting option is required, Aaron Hardie, who played effectively for the Perth Scorchers in the BBL, can be brought in during the second innings. He will have a powerful impact substitute and is currently in excellent form.

An aggressive batter who excelled for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was Suryansh Shedge. If the conditions are favourable for batting, he can be deployed in the second innings.
