After his health worsened, former Indian cricket player Vinod Kambli was admitted to a hospital in Thane. The 52-year-old faces a serious health issue after medical tests showed clots in his brain. On Monday, December 23, Kambli was brought to Akriti Hospital, a private hospital in Thane district, Maharashtra, after complaining of cramps and a urinary infection.
Following a number of tests, doctors determined that he had brain clots, due to which he is currently under close observation. To further evaluate his health, more tests are planned for Tuesday. Additional testing is scheduled to guarantee a thorough evaluation. The hospital has declared that it will provide Kambli with free lifelong care as a humane gesture. The hospital's in-charge, S. Singh, stated their dedication to helping the cricket player continue to recuperate. As Kambli continues to struggle with his health, this offer will guarantee that he gets the care he needs.

Vinod Kambli is probably the saddest story of immense talent going to waste because of bad choices/lack of discipline.

Looks more like stress eating. He needs a rehab centre far from his hometown and home like may be Kerala or something. This is gonna take a long time or may be unrecoverable.

A self confessed addict is asking for help? Shameful. He wasted his lifeband expects others to help? Playing victim card....?

The hospital is making mockery of Kambli's health situation, if treatment was to be done it should be silent. This is just creating publicity for hospital. @BCCI should take responsibility. @sachin_rt @MumbaiCricAssoc

When Sachin Tendulkar and Vinod Kambli met recently at the Ramakant Achrekar memorial event at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park, Kambli was spotted in a wheelchair, which caused internet users to worry about his health. As a result, several members of the Indian cricket fraternity learned about Kambli's predicament and offered assistance, including Kapil Dev and Sunil Gavaskar.
Close friend Marcus Couto provided updates on Kambli's recuperation, stating that although his condition is stable, he has recommended that the hospital continue therapy for a considerable amount of time. Hospital administrators have promised to give Kambli's medical requirements top priority, and S. Singh, the hospital's in-charge, has offered Kambli free medical care for the rest of his life.
The left-hander has received help from several former players, including Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Kapil Dev. Tendulkar, a friend from Kambli's early years, has been crucial in supplying financial support, dispelling rumours that the two are at odds.
