Must Watch - MS Dhoni and Sakshi Join the Queue to Vote in Ranchi!

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Jharkhand's favourite son, was also seen going to the polls with his wife as part of the state's ongoing first phase of assembly elections. In an ANI video, MS Dhoni and his spouse can be seen walking inside the polling station while being guarded by security personnel who are there to keep them safe from the large audience that has gathered to catch a sight of their favourite celebrity.

As the guards made room for the former captain and his wife, the fans jammed the booth to get a look at Dhoni in the footage, which has gone viral on social media. It's noteworthy that Dhoni was selected to serve as the Jharkhand Elections' brand ambassador. 

Sakshi is wearing a white dress, and MS Dhoni is sporting a brown jersey and black glasses. The fact that MS Dhoni cast a ballot in Jharkhand and that he was seen going to the polls is motivating the state's citizens to cast ballots in the crucial assembly elections. On November 20, Jharkhand will hold its second round of assembly elections, and on November 23, Maharashtra will hold its assembly elections.

Additionally, the chief electoral officer came out to confirm that Dhoni gave his permission for his image to be used in the assembly elections. Dhoni's primary motivation for serving as the brand ambassador is to raise voter awareness through the SWEEP (Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation) initiative.

On the work front, following his retention as an uncapped player ahead of the IPL 2025 big auction, MS Dhoni recently made headlines. Fans are nevertheless rather enthusiastic about the prospect of MS Dhoni wearing the yellow shirt once more, even if it is still unclear if this will be his final season.

CSK has kept Matheesha Pathirana, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ruturaj Gaikwad in addition to MS Dhoni. Though their CEO recently emphasized that Rishabh Pant would be too costly for them, there have been rumours that CSK might bid for him in the forthcoming mega auction.
