Some of the top domestic cricket teams will compete in the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal matches, which are scheduled to start in just three days. The Mumbai team, which will play its knockout match against Haryana, which won Group C, is one of the tournament's greatest favourites.

Defending champions Mumbai will play Haryana at Eden Gardens in Kolkata instead of Lahli in Haryana. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) notified both sides in advance of the venue change, which was attributed to "unavoidable circumstances."

The dates of all four quarterfinals are February 8–12. The two teams' showdown will be intriguing. Mumbai will be hoping to retain its crown, although Haryana, led by Kapil Dev, hasn't won a championship since the 1990–91 campaign. International players Shivam Dube and Suryakumar Yadav are among the two teams' prominent stars, and they both made themselves available for the quarterfinal matchup against Haryana.

Ranji Trophy 2025 Quarter-Finals Big Update:

Ajinkya Naik, president of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), told the PTI news agency on Wednesday, "Yes, we have received communication from the BCCI that our quarter-final against Haryana will be played at Eden Gardens." The CH Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Lahli, Rohtak, which has served as Haryana's home field, was originally scheduled to host the quarterfinal match. However, plans have now altered, and the Eden Gardens in Kolkata will now host the game instead. The Haryana team is anticipated to arrive at the location by Wednesday, and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is arranging for the players to fly to Kolkata.

Reports state that the location was changed to prevent possible weather-related delays in Lahli. Even if it's the end of winter, play might occasionally be impacted by the weather. Regarding the other quarterfinal games, the MCA Stadium in Pune will host the match between J&K and Kerala, but the J&K squad will not have the opportunity to host it because of the unfavourable conditions in Jammu. The Civil Lines Stadium in Nagpur will host the Vidarbha vs. Tamil Nadu game, while the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot will host the Saurashtra vs. Gujarat encounter.
