After the bowler rattled Vivek Singh's stumps during the present Group D Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways, Virat Kohli was shown joyfully hugging Navdeep Saini. Kohli, who is renowned for his extraordinary vigour on the field, rushed over to embrace Saini after the dismissal. Because they played together with Royal Challengers Bengaluru for three years, from 2019 to 2021, in the IPL, Navdeep and Kohli had a special friendship. It was touching to watch the two stars have a moment together.
One of the most anticipated events of the 2024–25 Ranji Trophy season has been Kohli's comeback to red-ball domestic cricket after a 13-year absence. In an attempt to improve his Test performance, the former India captain chose to play for Delhi in the tournament's last round.
Virat Kohli and Navdeep Saini's Special Moment:
Vivek miscalculated the ball's movement and played the incorrect line when Navdeep bowled a good-length delivery that came inside in the seventh over. The off-stump was uprooted when the ball slammed against it. As a result, his disgusting innings came to an end because he had to go without disturbing the scoreboard.

When Saini hit a good-length delivery that plunged hard into the left-hander in the seventh over of Railways' innings, there was a moment of celebration. Singh went back with a 14-ball duck as he missed the line totally, causing the ball to crash onto the off-stump. As of this writing, the Railways have lost three crucial wickets: Vivek Singh, Suraj Ajya Ahuja (C), and Anchit Yadav. As Delhi continues to take wickets, they are sitting at 33/3.
The Railways are battling at 84/5 by the 26th over, but Delhi's bowlers have dominated the match thus far. Money Grewal and Siddhant Sharma also made significant contributions with vital wickets in addition to Saini. Saini has a strong relationship with the batting legend, having played with him for three years at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (2019–2021) in the IPL and under his tutelage for the national team.
