All-rounder Shivam Dube of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is said to have bought residences in Mumbai for more than the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) mega-auction price of captain Rishabh Pant of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Pant became the most expensive player in the history of the league when he was signed by LSG for INR 27 crore.
The documents state that both flats are situated on the 17th and 18th floors of the DLH Enclave residential complex. The entire size is 9,603 square feet, which includes the 4,200 square feet of the two apartments and the 3,800 square foot balcony. According to the documents, Dev Land and Housing Limited was the seller of the unit and three parking spots.

The transaction was registered on June 20, 2025, and Rs. 30,000 was paid in registration fees and ₹1.65 crore in stamp duty. Local brokers told HT.com that the building, called DLH Enclave, has views of the creek and mangroves and is inhabited by a number of well-known people, including singer Mika Singh, comedian Kapil Sharma, and the late actor Irrfan Khan.
After performing effectively for the team in the two seasons prior, Dube was signed by CSK for INR 12 crore ahead of the mega-auction. But in the tournament's eighteenth edition, the southpaw blew hot and cold. In 14 games, he amassed 357 runs at an average of 32.45. He did, however, have his lowest strike rate in an IPL season since 2021, with just 132.22. Throughout the season, Dube batted at various locations as CSK looked for the perfect combination in what ended up being a disappointing campaign for the five-time champions. For the first time in IPL history, they placed last in the points table.
In addition to being a consistent starter in the IPL, Dube has represented India in 35 T20Is and four ODIs. On February 2, 2025, he made his final appearance for his country in a Twenty20 International match against England at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
