The Proteas Women's team that will travel to New Zealand for an outbound T20 International (T20I) and one-day international (ODI) tour from March 15 to April 4 has been revealed by the South African Women's Selection Panel. As the team's captain, Laura Wolvaardt is leading the way in the South Africa Women's squad that Cricket South Africa has released for their forthcoming trip to New Zealand. Kayla Reyneke, 20, received her first international call-up as a reward for her performances on the home circuit. Reyneke is noteworthy because she has already made her T20I debut and will now be included in the ODI kits.

World Sports Betting Western Province all-rounder Kayla Reyneke, who made an impression in the T20I series against Pakistan earlier this month, is included in the 15-player squad, which is captained by Laura Wolvaardt. Seamers Ayabonga Khaka (DP World Lions), Masabata Klaas (Fidelity Titans), and all-rounder Dané van Niekerk (Western Province) have all returned to the 50-over team after missing the current series against Pakistan.

South Africa Women's Squad Updated:

After becoming ill during the third Twenty20 International match against Pakistan, Marizanne Kapp will stay in South Africa to finish her recuperation before starting her return-to-play regimen in preparation for the Proteas Women's next tours. As part of a festival of double headers between the Proteas men and the Black Caps at five locations in Mount Maunganui, Hamilton, Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, the Proteas will play the White Ferns in five Twenty20 Internationals between March 15 and 25. The ICC Women's Championship (IWC) 2026–29 qualifying cycle for the 2029 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup will include the ODI series.

In addition to the five T20I internationals that will kick off the trip, there will be three One-Day Internationals. The ICC Women's Championship will also include the three-match ODI series. According to head coach Mandla Mashimbyi, travelling to New Zealand to play the White Ferns will be extremely difficult for the Proteas, and the players will need to adjust to the environment.
