They may also switch their dressing room at the Narendra Modi Stadium for the T20 World Cup 2026 final against New Zealand. Indian supporters are divided by Team India's advancement to the T20 World Cup 2026 final, which will be held on Sunday, March 8, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Even though they have a great record there, the camp is still plagued by memories of the devastating loss to Australia in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup final. At the same venue on November 19, 2023, India experienced a heartbreaking defeat that continues to plague both players and supporters. In light of this, the team management has apparently taken some preventative measures before the summit match. Since no team has ever successfully defended the T20 World Cup title, the Indian national cricket team is poised to make history. However, some fans are uneasy because the event is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India has a 7-3 record in 10 Twenty20 Internationals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
