In the Women's UPL 2025 final, table-toppers Tehri Queens defeated Haridwar Storm by a dominating seven wickets to cap off their outstanding campaign. As the tournament's top catcher, wicket-taker, and run-scorer, captain Neelam Bhardwaj led from the front. The best performances in the final were Megha Saini, Sabhya, and Nisha Mishra.

With a strong foundation from openers Jyoti Giri and Dipika Chand, the Haridwar Storm innings got off to a good start. The innings' mainstay, Jyoti Giri, amassed a strong 41 runs and managed the pressure of the final with ease. Dipika Chand contributed 11 runs to the opening partnership and provided consistent support. They struck together a productive 49-run partnership that appeared to give Haridwar the upper hand for a little while.

Uttarakhand Premier League 2025 Update:

Neelam Bhardwaj, sensing the momentum, brought in Nisha Mishra and Sabhya, who promptly tightened the screws. A slowness resulted after the stumping of Dipika Chand in the ninth over. Only 13 runs were scored by Haridwar during the seventh and tenth overs. Neelam Bhardwaj then came on, and even though Jyoti Giri hit a boundary off her opening over, the captain soon responded by dismissing Jyoti for a solid 41 (38 balls, 5 fours, 1 six) with a brilliant catch in the very next over.

The Queens were unable to be stopped despite the disciplined bowling efforts of Ankita Shah and Kalpana Verma, who each got one wicket. They eventually easily completed their target in just 11.5 overs, and Mega Saini, who is still undefeated, celebrated a well-deserved victory.

With a final margin of seven wickets, Tehri Queens demonstrated their dominance throughout the season and their undefeated run to the championship. They won the Uttarakhand Premier League Women's competition championship because of their strong batting under duress and efficient bowling.
