In the late session of Day 1 of the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Travis Head was served a delivery that India needed in the World Cup final in November of last year. At a score of 31 for 4, Head, who had looked solid with a few boundaries earlier, was destroyed by a brilliant delivery from Australia.
In the opening delivery of the 12th over of Australia's opening innings, Rana took the crucial wicket. Head was on the defensive and was bowled a full-length delivery outside off stump by the 22-year-old. However, the ball smashed the top of off after passing his outside edge. After the bails were thrown into the air, Rana went for a joyous run. Travis Head couldn't respond to this ball since the debutant quickly fooled him totally.
Harshit Rana delivers a ripper:

As other players gathered around him to congratulate the fervent fast, Rana was clearly excited after taking his first wicket. India failed to take advantage of their choice to bat first earlier today. Despite his 74-ball knock, KL Rahul was controversially removed. Devdutt Padikkal and Yashasvi Jaiswal did not add anything to the scoreboard. India ended up with 150 runs on the board thanks to the knocks of Nitish Kumar and Rishabh Pant.
Travis Head had struck Harshit Rana with two fours in his last over. However, the young player recovered well and produced a stunning ball in his subsequent over's opening ball. There was no response to the batter's and Rana's flawless response. Travis Head has previously caused problems for India. With his aggressive batting style, the left-hander may steal the game from the opposition. Since Australia had lost a batsman who was attempting to counterattack, his wicket was crucial for India.
With the ball, India came out firing. Three Australian hitters were removed by Jasprit Bumrah during his first six-over session. Australia has already lost half of their team, with Mitchell Marsh becoming the most recent casualty.
