Particularly for top Indian batsman Virat Kohli, the current Test match between Australia and India in Melbourne has been particularly dramatic. Notably, after the shoulder-bump incident involving 19-year-old Sam Konstas on the first day, Kohli was hit with a 20% fine and one penalty point. Since Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test between Australia rookie Sam Konstas and former India captain Virat Kohli, the home crowd has been furious with the former captain. When Kohli batted on Day 2, the unrelenting assault and jeering became even more apparent.

Even though the former captain of India was able to cut through the noise, Kohli was unable to build on his strong start. After scoring 36 off 86 balls, the dynamic right-hander was eventually forced to walk back to the pavilion after being hit by a delivery from Scott Boland. After Kohli was fired, there was another episode that brought him into the public eye. He was jeered as he made his way back to the pavilion.

Despite having entered the players' tunnel halfway, Kohli emerged and gave the stands a death gaze before security guards arrived and led him inside. Before the guards comforted him, he gazed at the onlookers. The video has gone viral on all social media platforms. 

Regarding the game, the hosts posted a massive total of 474 after putting on a strong batting show in the first innings. With four wickets, Jasprit Bumrah was once again India's highest wicket-taker, followed by Ravindra Jadeja with three. But once again, the Indian hitters found it difficult to get going, losing half of their team for a total of just 164 runs.
