Retired international cricket players compete in the T20 World Championship of Legends 2025. The purpose of the event is to bring together previous game stars in a competitive setting, allowing fans to relive their favourite legends' performances. Each of the six teams competing in the competition is made up of former athletes who have played for their respective countries. Round-robin group matches precede playoffs, which include semifinals and a final, under this style. Starting on July 18, a total of 18 matches will be played.
There will only be one round-robin league phase in the competition. The top four teams advance to the playoffs after each team has faced the other once. The England Champions will play the Pakistan Champions, who finished as the runners-up last year, in the first match at Edgbaston. Birmingham, Northampton, Leicester, and Leeds are the four English cities where the eagerly awaited competition will take place. Notably, Birmingham will host the summit match, the first semifinal, and the second semifinal.
