At 53 for 4, Pakistan was in a vulnerable situation, but they were able to rally thanks to a strong partnership between captain Agha Salman (38) and Hasan Nawaz (40). Nawaz was especially aggressive during his fast-paced 23-ball innings, hitting four sixes. But the West Indies took back control after Holder came back to sever the alliance by firing Nawaz. Pakistan's bottom order was finally limited to 133 for 9 in their 20 overs after failing to build on the comeback. Gudakesh Motie, Roston Chase, and Akeal Hosein all contributed significant wickets.

Holder and Romario Shepherd were at the crease with eight runs needed in the last over. In a thrilling match, Holder gave the home team a spectacular victory by hitting a boundary off the final ball. Saim Ayub took two wickets for the Men in Green, while Mohammad Nawaz took three. Holder led West Indies to a much-needed victory and helped tie the series at one, earning him the Player of the Match award for his exceptional all-around play. On Monday, August 4, the final will take place at the same location.
