One of the best southpaws in cricket, Yuvraj Singh, will play for India Masters in the first season of the International Masters League (IML), which takes place from February 22 to March 16, 2025. He is one of the main architects of India's win in the first-ever ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. Yuvraj is a name that conjures up images of glory and moments that change the course of games. In that match, he famously blasted England pacer Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over.

Additionally, he was instrumental in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, winning Player of the Tournament for his exceptional all-around effort. Yuvraj, who is playing cricket again as part of the India Masters, said "Taking the field with Sachin and my other teammates feels like reliving the glory days. Playing alongside all of them brings back so many memories. For me, the IML is a tribute to the era that defined Indian cricket, and I can’t wait to create some more unforgettable memories for all the fans who have supported us over the years."

Yuvraj Singh is ready for the field:

JP Duminy of South Africa and Upul Tharanga of Sri Lanka will represent their respective countries in the IML, joining them as cricketing greats. Tharanga will represent the Sri Lanka Masters, and Duminy will play for the South Africa Masters. JP Duminy's elegant stroke play, poise under duress, and useful off-spin bowling were well-known. As South Africa's T20 captain and a player with almost 9,000 international runs, Duminy was frequently the calming influence during pivotal situations.

JP said, “Representing South Africa Masters in season one of the International Masters League is a huge honour. I am looking forward to playing in a tournament that will feature the greats of the game. Cricket fans can rest assured that the cricket they will witness, will be riveting and exhilarating.”
