Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga gave fans a unique present as the new year got underway. At midnight, the first poster for his next movie, Spirit, was unveiled. Superstar Prabhas and actress Triptii Dimri made an appearance on the poster in a brand-new, powerful avatar.

Fans went into a flurry of excitement as the creators posted the image on social media as the clock struck midnight, signalling the start of the New Year. As he did with his huge commercial triumph Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, Vanga carried on his tradition of teasing fans with Spirit news on the occasion of the New Year. Coincidentally, the first-look poster for Vanga's Spirit captures the same raw, unadulterated energy that has made the internet think of Animal. Check out the public reaction to their first look below.

Netizens' Verdict on Spirit First Look:

Prabhas is seen with a moustache, a big beard, and long hair. His back is to the camera, and he is bare up to the waist. His wounds, bandages, and injury marks are prominently exhibited on his flesh, implying that the figure led a cruel existence. He has a cigarette burning in his mouth, is holding a glass of spirits, and is wearing loose white pants. He has a tough, powerful appearance.

Triptii Dimri, dressed in a plain, light-colored saree, stands next to Prabhas. She can be seen calmly and solemnly lighting Prabhas's cigarette. Without any words, this exchange between the two says a lot. The poster's background seems to be a room, with the distant view of the city and the light from the window contributing to the enigmatic ambience.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is the director, editor, and writer of Spirit. Prabhakar Reddy Vanga, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Bhushan Kumar are the film's producers. It will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Mandarin, Japanese, and Korean, according to the creators.

On Prabhas's 46th birthday last year, Vanga released the movie's audio teaser in five Indian languages. The release date is set for 2026. Last year, Spirit made headlines when Deepika Padukone left the movie due to demands around work hours. Vanga criticised the actress's public relations approach in a social media post without mentioning Deepika Padukone. Triptii Dimri was later cast in the part. Vanga and Triptii previously collaborated on Animal (2023).
