Akshay Kumar Exits Bigg Boss 18 Grand Finale Without Promoting 'Sky Force' As Salman Khan Fails to Show Up on Time

Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, two of Hindi cinema's biggest actors, have always been a house on fire when they're together. On the sets of Bigg Boss 18 today, Akshay Kumar arrived to promote his forthcoming film Sky Force alongside debutante Veer Pahariya. Their playful chemistry as Sunny and Sameer in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi is still remembered and praised. But the eagerly anticipated reunion never happened. 

Akshay Kumar was supposed to promote their next movie Sky Force with debutant Veer Pahariya. Although the session was eventually cancelled, pictures of Akshay and Veer from the set had already gone viral, generating excitement for their presence. The crowd would have enjoyed Akshay and Salman's reunion, and they were meant to have some lighthearted banter with the presenter. However, we learn why it didn't happen from an insider.

Revealing insider information a source disclosed, “Being as punctual as he is, Akshay turned up on the set for his shoot at the scheduled time, around 2:15 pm. But Salman hadn't come by then. Akshay waited for an hour for Salman to come, but he had a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3 on his schedule. Thus, after waiting for an hour, Akshay returned without even shooting for the show."

The source further revealed, “Akshay and Salman eventually spoke and Akshay told him that he had to leave for a prior commitment. Salman also said that he hopes to have him on the show some other time.”

Eisha Singh, Avinash Mishra, Karanveer Mehra, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Chum Darang are competing for the winner's trophy in the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 tonight.
