Bollywood Scoop: Jaideep Ahlawat to Join Shah Rukh Khan in his Next Movie 'King'?

Shah Rukh Khan caused a commotion at the movie office in 2023 with three consecutive hits: Jawan, Dunki, and Pathaan. Fans are now excitedly anticipating 'King', his upcoming movie. Saurabh Shukla had previously stated that he was in the movie, and Jaideep Ahlawat has now confirmed his participation in an interview with Lallantop. 

Jaideep Ahlawat has stated that he will be appearing in King, Shah Rukh Khan's next action film. Jaideep revealed that because the role was small, director Siddharth Anand was hesitant to grant him the movie. In Jewel Thief—The Heist Begins, the actor most recently collaborated with Siddharth, who served as producer.

Jaideep Ahlawat's Big Break?

The actor revealed, “As far as I know, SRK sir had been thinking about this for quite some time. But Siddharth (Anand) bhai was a bit hesitant to offer it to me since it was a small role after Jewel Thief. But Khan saab, being Khan saab, he said, ‘I’ll talk to him.’ No,w who could say no to the man?"

Jaideep also went ahead to praise Bollywood's King Khan, saying, “I really like him. In all my interactions with him — in the five to seven times we've met — starting from Raees, where I shot with him for four to five days, and even after that, whenever we met, he always made me feel like I was the closest person to him. He’s a wonderful human being. He has some amazing qualities. Every time I’ve met him, he’s made me feel important."

King, which is directed by Siddharth Anand, also features Saurabh Shukla and Suhana Khan. According to rumours, the cast also includes Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Rani Mukerji. The formal announcement has not yet been made, though. The movie is presently being made, and the release date has not yet been set.
