Bollywood's Diva Deepika Padukone Gets Replaced by Sai Pallavi in Prabhas Starrer Kalki 2 Film?

The excitement around the sequel to Nag Ashwin's science-fiction epic, Kalki 2898 AD, has increased once again. Regarding the movie starring actors Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, the filmmaker and the Vyjayanthi Movies crew have kept a low profile, but insiders have been leaking numerous clues online. The question of whether actor Sai Pallavi would take Deepika Padukone's place as SUM-80 in the movie has finally been answered by a production representative.

The high-budget science fiction movie Kalki 2898 AD is getting ready for a sequel, and the focus is currently on potential cast changes. Actress Sai Pallavi may be considered for a significant role in the franchise's second instalment, according to recent developments. This update coincides with continuous rumours about the sequel's cast, especially in view of Deepika Padukone's alleged departure from the film.

Hindustan Times reports a representative saying, "Nothing has been finalised yet. But yes, the makers are looking at Sai to play SUM-80 after Deepika’s exit. They think she’ll be a perfect fit for the role. All these are just rumours because nothing has been finalised yet. Please wait for official confirmation."

Alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone plays a key role in the opening segment of Kalki 2898 AD. There have been rumours that Padukone might not appear in the movie's future sequel, which is already in the planning stages. It's still unclear why she reportedly left, and neither the actress nor the production company have released a formal remark on the subject.

SUM-80, also known as Sumati, is Project K's pregnant lab subject and Kalki's foretold mother in Kalki 2898 AD. In the Telugu version of the film, actor Sobhita Dhulipala dubbed Deepika. Amitabh Bachchan's Ashwatthama takes care of SUM-80 after she breaks out of Kamal Haasan's Supreme Yaskin's laboratory.
