Kennedy OTT Release: Where and When to Watch Sunny Leone's Action Thriller?

Kennedy, directed by Anurag Kashyap, is finally going to be seen by audiences, albeit not in the manner that many had anticipated, after making waves on the international festival circuit and receiving critical acclaim at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie never got a theatrical distribution in India, even though it was approved by the Central Board of Film Certification. To the delight of fans who have been eagerly awaiting its release, Kennedy is now headed directly to OTT three years after its acclaimed Cannes premiere.

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is renowned for captivating and intriguing films like Black Friday, Gangs of Wasseypur, and more, is getting ready for the release of Kennedy, a highly anticipated thriller. Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone appear in the suspenseful film. The film will be released in India with a twist after making its world premiere at foreign film festivals.

Kennedy OTT Release Update:

Anurag Kashyap announced Kennedy's OTT release and shared the trailer on Instagram on Saturday. The caption read, “Finally, our labour of love, angst and everything in between—Kennedy—is coming home after travelling the world on @zee5. All I can say is that I am grateful for having been able to make this film, for my team, my producers, my studio, and at the end of the day—jab jab jo jo hona hai, tab tab so so hota hai."

According to a recent Times of India article, Anurag Kashyap's film Kennedy is scheduled to debut on the over-the-top platform Zee5. For those who are unaware, the thriller had its debut under the Midnight Screenings category at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023. Kennedy will hit Zee5 on February 20, 2026, according to the same Times of India source. It is reportedly not going to get a theatrical premiere in India. It is important to note that the rationale for foregoing a theatrical release has not been disclosed.
