According to reports, Kalyani Priyadarshan will make her Bollywood debut alongside Ranveer Singh in the zombie action movie Pralay. On Instagram, Kalyani alluded to a partnership with director Jai Mehta, though no formal confirmation has been made yet. There are rumours that the movie is based on José Saramago's book Blindness. Additionally, Pralay will be Ranveer Singh's first production with Maa Kasam Films.
For both Kalyani and Ranveer Singh, who will be making his producing debut, this project represents a major turning point. Under his recently established company, Maa Kasam Films, Singh will co-produce the movie. The film will be co-produced by Sameer Nair's Applause Entertainment and Hansal Mehta's True Story Films.
Jai Mehta, who previously directed the television series Lootere and co-directed the highly regarded program Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, will helm Pralay. A human drama of survival and sacrifice in a post-apocalyptic world is explored in this large-scale, high-concept zombie thriller. It is anticipated to have a lot of world-building and visual effects.

According to reports, Kalyani Priyadarshan, who made an impression in last year's Malayalam smash Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra as an unexpected superhero, may make her Bolly debut in Pralay, a zombie action movie starring Ranveer Singh. Pralay, which means "end of the world," will also be Ranveer's first production with Maa Kasam Films.
A variety of hits and super hits, including Thallumaala, Hridayam, Maanaadu, and Varane Avashyamund, are included in her filmography. Despite having a ₹7 crore budget, the romance drama Hridayam made almost ₹55 crore. With a budget of ₹30 crore and a box office total of ₹79 crore, the science fiction action thriller Maanaadu was likewise a huge success. Everyone will be watching this new combination as the excitement grows. In addition to being Kalyani Priyadarshan's big Bollywood debut, Pralay is also going to be a daring new chapter for Ranveer Singh as he takes on the position of producer for a massive action movie.
The actor is excited about Dhurandhar's enormous success and is looking forward to Dhurandhar 2's March 19 release. There were rumours a few days ago that the actor had said goodbye to Don 3 and would focus entirely on Pralay this year.
