Farhan Akhtar Reveals BIG Update on Ranveer Singh Starrer Don 3 Movie

Don 3 is officially happening. Farhan Akhtar confirmed this news with fans a few months ago. Actor Ranveer Singh will be taking the responsibility of continuing the franchise. The Don 3 movie announcement had created a lot of havoc and buzz on social media.

Particularly among fans who wondered why Ranveer rather than Shah Rukh Khan would play the legendary role. Social media was inundated with audience reactions to the teaser as soon as it was made public. However, there were no updates on the eagerly awaited project following the teaser's release. As a result, there were numerous speculations that DON 3 had been shelved or delayed. 

Following Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, fans are excited to watch Ranveer Singh continue the Don franchise. Now, Don 3 director Farhan Akhtar revealed in a recent interview with India Today that they will start filming this year. Yes, you have read that right!

Don 3 Movie Schedule Revealed:

Farhan Akhtar emphasized in an interview with India Today that Ranveer Singh's Don 3 is definitely on schedule. It hasn't been postponed or shelved. He responded, "I am not dodging any questions," when questioned about avoiding questions on Don 3. He said, "120 Bahadur will be released at the end of the year, while Don 3 will begin production this year." 

Fans should anticipate that Don 3 won't be released in theatres until the following year since the film's production will start this year. Kiara Advani plays the protagonist alongside Ranveer Singh in Don 3. According to reports, Vikrant Massey, who starred in 12th Fail, has been recruited on board to play the antagonist. Nevertheless, there is no proof of this.

Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty and released during Diwali last year, was Ranveer's most recent appearance. Farhan is preparing for the release of Superboys of Malegaon, his upcoming project, in the meantime. The film, which starred Adarsh Gourav, Vineet Kumar Singh, Shashank Arora, and Anuj Singh Duhan, was released in theatres on February 28.
