Metro In Dino OTT: Where and When to Watch Anurag Basu's Romantic Drama Film?

Did you miss the critically acclaimed ensemble drama in theatres by Anurag Basu? Don't worry, you can now watch the movie on OTT. With an ensemble cast that includes Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal, Netflix India announced in a blog post on Friday that the Anurag Basu movie will be accessible starting on August 29.

Netflix India captioned the movie's poster when it posted it on its Instagram account by saying, "Ye metro platform pe aa chuki hai. Ab inki prem kahani, hui aapki (This metro has now reached the platform. Their love story is now yours)! Watch 'Metro In Dino', out now on Netflix."

The spiritual follow-up to Anurag Basu's 2007 hit Metro In Dino, the movie features music composed by Pritam. Anurag acknowledged in an interview that the late actor Irrfan Khan inspired this follow-up. The only main character from the original cast to return for the next instalment is Konkona Sen Sharma. Four new couples are explored in the sequel as they traverse the highs and lows of relationships and love in various locales.

The latter anthology is built on human interactions and complications, which is a similar theme to the 2007 publication. Key characters in the movie are played by actors Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal. The movie marks Basu's first outing since his black crime-comedy "Ludo" in 2020. Tripathi, Kapur, Shaikh, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Abhishek Bachchan, and others played important parts in the film. T-Series Films and Anurag Basu Productions produced the movie, which was well-received by reviewers when it came out.
