The buzz around Salman Khan's eagerly awaited movie Sikandar couldn't last long, could it? The movie did not live up to the expectations of the audience, despite the fact that it had generated a great deal of excitement and buzz since the debut of its trailer. Now that things have gotten so bad, Mumbai theaters are canceling their shows in order to play more lucrative movies.

The Salman Khan-starring movie, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna in a significant role, made roughly Rs 9.75 crore on Day 4 after its Eid release, which is 50% less than its Day 3 total. This explains why Salman's major Eid release still has trouble drawing crowds to theaters. The most recent information from Sacnilk.com indicates that Sikandar has earned ₹84.25 crore in India thus far.

Among the first to be eliminated were the evening and nighttime hours at Kandivali's INOX, Raghuleela Mall. The Gujarati film The Best Pandya took the place of Sikandar's April 1 9:30 p.m. performance. Theater owners claimed that the move was made for business reasons since Gujarati films were attracting larger audiences.

Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan Dominates BO:

The 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sikandar presentations at Cinepolis Seawoods and PVR Orion Mall were replaced with L2: Empuraan, which starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal. Empuraan is doing better than the Salman Khan- Rashmika Mandanna film, despite its own problems.

According to the Free Press Journal, a number of theaters in Mumbai ceased showing Sikandar after the weekend since the film's earnings fell by 50%. They chose other movies like Empuraan, The Diplomat, and well-known Gujarati flicks in place of Sikandar.

The night and evening performances at Kandivali's INOX, Raghuleela Mall, have reportedly been replaced. In order to make more money, the 9:30 p.m. Sikandar show was taken off the air on April 1 and replaced with the Gujarati movie The Best Pandya. Similarly, L2: Empuraan was shown at Cinepolis Seawoods and PVR Orion Mall in place of the Salman Khan- Rashmika Mandanna movie between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. Metro INOX and INOX Nariman Point experienced a similar circumstance. Here, Sikandar's prime time slots were taken by John Abraham's The Diplomat.
