New Bollywood Actors to Replace Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy 2?

One of the most well-known Bollywood films is Gully Boy. This Zoya Akhtar-directed film, which starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, came out in 2019. Bhatt and Singh both received accolades for their roles in the musical drama. What if we told you, however, that a follow-up to the 2019 film is in the works? It has since been revealed that there may be a sequel planned. Ananya Panday and Vicky Kaushal are reportedly in talks to appear in the second half, however, there is no official confirmation.

There are plans to make a sequel to Gully Boy. But Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh won't play the main parts. Furthermore, the second movie will not be directed by Zoya Akhtar. According to a recent source, Ananya Panday and Vicky Kaushal are being considered for the second half. Arjun Varain Singh, who directed the Netflix movie Kho Gaye Hum Kahan for Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment, is also included in the report as the director.

A new article in Filmfare claims that the producers have been in talks with Ananya Panday and Vicky Kaushal to star in the Gully Boy sequel. It seems that the project has also secured a director. The director of Tiger Baby Films and Excel Entertainment's Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Arjun Varain Singh, is slated to handle the Gully Boy sequel, a source told the portal.

In Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya Panday collaborated with Arjun, and the director apparently thinks she's the ideal fit. Vicky has been involved with the initiative for a long time, the article further stated. There have been no announcements regarding the film's release date thus far.

Therefore, we will need to wait for an official update from the team. In other entertainment news, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in the Rashmika Mandanna-starring movie Chhaava. In the historical drama, which is scheduled to hit theatres this year, the actor plays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. However, Ananya Panday's upcoming movie, which stars R Madhavan and Akshay Kumar, is still untitled.
