Ranveer Singh Out of Biggest Indian Superhero Film Shaktimaan?

The actor's crew has put the record straight with a strong rejection amid mounting rumours that Ranveer Singh would become both an actor and producer, following in the footsteps of India's famed superhero Shaktimaan. According to a May 29 Filmfare story, Singh reportedly obtained the rights to the iconic persona. It stated that Ranveer intended to create a web series based on the Mukesh Khanna-starring Shaktimaan.

His team stated, "The news about Ranveer Singh acquiring rights to develop a new superhero (Shaktimaan) project as the producer holds no truth. He is currently busy shooting for Aditya Dhar’s next, and then Don 3 is also on the cards for him.” Months of speculation that Singh was connected to a possible Shaktimaan comeback have been dispelled by the clarification.

Additionally, it shows that the actor is not working with the series' original creator and face, Mukesh Khanna, on any such endeavour. Currently, Ranveer is filming an action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar. Additionally, he is getting ready for Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, which will be released next year. The actor last appeared in Singham Again, which also starred Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Ajay Devgn.

Ranveer Singh would be an excellent fit for Shaktimaan because he has become an underappreciated performer over the years. However, it appears that Mukesh Khanna is not in a rush to produce the movie so quickly. Notably, viewers have been anxiously awaiting further information about Shaktimaan since it was introduced almost four years ago. Although there was excitement at the time, because nothing has been completed, the announcement is gradually becoming a topic for trolling for everyone.

If Mukesh Khanna keeps them waiting for too long, the production company may abandon the project, even if Sony Pictures also stepped in to give the movie a spectacular look. Now is the time for Mukesh Khanna to heed the advice and take action before his movie loses its appeal.
