Reports: Salman Khan Allegedly Offered Money to Bishnoi Community

The whole Bishnoi community supports the incarcerated gangster in the black buck episode involving Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan, according to Lawrence Bishnoi's cousin Ramesh Bishnoi. Ramesh claimed in an interview with a media portal that Salman made an offer of cash to the Bishnoi community, but they turned it down. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is presently in jail at Gujarat's Sabarmati jail on a number of offences. Lawrence Bishnoi and his group had been threatening to kill Salman after he shot a black buck, which they revere and consider sacred.

Salman Khan was accused of hunting a blackbuck, and in a 2023 interview with a television channel, Lawrence Bishnoi claimed that by killing a blackbuck, Salman had humiliated the Bishnoi community. The media portal was informed by Lawrence's cousin Ramesh that the actor had previously made a financial offer to the Bishnoi community.

What will be Salman Khan's next step?

He revealed, "His father, Salim Khan, stated that the Lawrence gang is engaging in this activity for financial gain. I would want to remind him that his son brought a chequebook to the community and instructed everyone to fill it out and take it. We would have grabbed it then if we were in dire need of cash."

Ramesh went on to remark that the Bishnoi community is willing to make sacrifices in order to safeguard wildlife and that every member was incensed when the Blackbuck tragedy occurred. He further added, "Every Bishnoi's blood was boiling when Salman Khan killed the blackbuck. We let the court make the decision. Nonetheless, it is normal for society to become incensed if the community is ridiculed. The Bishnoi community as a whole supports Lawrence in this issue today."

Navi Mumbai Police filed a case against unnamed Bishnoi gang members in April 2024 on suspicion of planning to murder Salman Khan at his Panvel farmhouse. The group opened fire outside the actor's Bandra home in Mumbai. Following Baba Siddiqui's passing, Salman's security was increased.
