On April 25, the cult movie was re-released in theatres, and Salman Khan welcomed fans in the Andaz Apna Apna fashion.

His caption read, "Eello ji sanam hum aa gaye............. Ab itna bhi gussa karo nahin jaani..."  The images quickly went viral. In the comments area, fans expressed their love. Andaz Apna Apna, which was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and distributed by Vinay Pictures, starred Aamir Khan and Salman as Amar and Prem, two gold diggers who try to court an heiress named Raveena in order to gain access to her father's fortune. According to a press release from the distributors, the film made Rs 25.75 lakh on the first day of its re-release, Rs 45.50 lakh on the second, and Rs 51.25 lakh on the third. The movie made Rs 1.2 crore in three days.

When the movie was first released in 1994, it wasn't immediately successful. However, with recurrent broadcast appearances, it developed a sort of cult following over time. Using memes and reels, movie dialogue such as "Teja main hoon, mark idhar hai," "Crime Master Gogo, Mogambo ka Bhatija," and "Do dost ek cup mein chai piyenge" gained popularity on social media.

Regarding his career, Salman Khan's Eid release Sikandar did not do well at the box office. Despite having a budget of Rs 200 crore, the movie did not do well in its first few days of release.
