India and West Indies played an exciting three-match ODI series, with the hosts winning the series 2-1. India won the first two ODIs in Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati, while the West Indies avoided a whitewash with an epic chase in the third game in New Chandigarh.

The series was dominated by the batters, with both captains, Shubman Gill and Shai Hope, scoring multiple centuries, and bowlers were left to fend for themselves with expensive figures. Today, we take a look at the combined best XI from both sides of the ODI series.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are set to open the innings for the India-West Indies combined XI. Rohit Sharma made 225 runs in 3 ODIs, with one century and 92 in the third game, while Shubman Gill made 334 runs, with two centuries, including the best of 223*. Virat Kohli is set to bat at no. 3, as he scored 168 runs in 3 ODIs, with one century, though he got out for a golden duck in the final ODI.

The West Indies duo of Shai Hope and Amir Jangoo will helm the middle order, along with John Campbell and KL Rahul coming in next. Hope starred with 278 runs in 3 ODIs, with two centuries and a best of 162*, while Jangoo made 239 runs in 3 games with one century and two fifties. John Campbell made 173 runs in 3 games with one ton and one fifty. KL Rahul starred in the final ODI, with a brilliant 129*, in the only innings he got to bat.

Keemo Paul will be the pace-bowling all-rounder, who made 47 runs and took two wickets as well. Kuldeep Yadav will be the best and lone spinner in the combined XI, given that he picked seven wickets in the series with an economy of 5.56 and best bowling of 4/40.

Prasidh Krishna picked three wickets in two games he played, and Gurnoor Brar also took three wickets in three games, but both the bowlers were expensive. Krishna went for an economy of 7, and Brar went for 7.54 economy.
