On March 27, SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will play the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Matchday 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. On and off the field, the 18th season of the Indian Premier League is producing tales that are worth clicking on, with touching situations, controversies, and viral moments abounding on social media.
After picking up where they left off in the first match, last year's runner-up SRH nearly broke the IPL record for the highest total, defeating the Rajasthan Royals by 44 runs. With their all-around firepower, the Pat Cummins-led team would want to continue dominating the competition, and the decisive victory also put SRH at the top of the points table for having the best net run rate.

Former Australian batsman David Warner has predicted that power-hitter Abhishek Sharma will get a century in the forthcoming match between SRH and LSG. In Hyderabad's first game against the Rajasthan Royals (RR), the young batsman only managed to score 24 runs.
Travis Head, a fellow countryman, will reach a half-century off just 20 balls, according to Warner, who was a SunRisers player till 2021. In the RR match, Head was outstanding, scoring 67 runs off of 31 balls. Kishan's inclusion among SRH's top weapons, Travis Head, Heinrich Klaasen, and Abhishek Sharma, is yet another brilliant move. In addition, Nitish Kumar Reddy scored more than 200 runs against the Rajasthan Royals. After being released by the Mumbai Indians, Kishan looked like a man on a mission as he scored his first IPL century, hitting 106 not out of 47 balls with six sixes and eleven fours.
Prior to their match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 28, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) spinner Ravichandran Ashwin engaged Grand Master (GM) D Gukesh in a chess match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk.
