As the IPL 2025 big auction draws near, numerous cricket gurus are taking to social media to provide their thoughts on how each team should prepare for the event in Jeddah. Many players have been discussed in relation to the teams to which they could be assigned. Rishabh Pant is one of the well-known athletes who has been let go by his teams for a variety of reasons.

A contemporary India star is expected to receive a large payout in the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) auction, according to an explosive prediction made by former India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player Suresh Raina. At the mega-sale in Jeddah, former Delhi Capitals captain and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is anticipated to be in high demand. Suresh Raina believes that by entering the auction, he will start a bidding war that will help Pant land a big deal.

Rishabh Pant's worth in IPL 2025?

In a recent conversation, former Indian cricket player Suresh Raina expressed his belief that Pant should easily be able to earn more than INR 25 crore because of his popularity outside of the game in addition to his skill on the field. Speaking about the same subject, Raina talked about the different teams that may be interested in hiring the former Delhi Capitals captain for his vital services.

Raina said, "Rishabh has that attitude to win a cup anywhere. He tried in Delhi and worked very hard there. CSK has to make the team and they have 55 crores left with them if they buy one player for 25-30 crores, then they have to make a squad of 18 (at least). Punjab has the money (110.50 crores), and Delhi has RTM. I won't be surprised if he (Pant) goes to RCB (83 crores left) because they are also looking for a captain."

In addition to his skill as a gloveman, Pant will be among the few Indian players up for auction with team leadership experience, which is something many teams are anticipated to be vying for. The 27-year-old will undoubtedly be targeted by teams like the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings, and Lucknow Super Giants.
