Tamil Superstar Anirudh Ravichander to Rock IPL 2025 CSK vs MI Opening Ceremony in Chennai

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will play the second game of the Sunday doubleheader. Before the match between the two tournament's fiercest rivals, there will be a special performance by famed composer and playback vocalist Anirudh Ravichander at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. According to a report by Sportstar, Anirudh, a major fan of MS Dhoni, is anticipated to enthral the Chepauk audience with a 20-minute performance. The singer tweeted on Saturday to announce his participation.

Shah Rukh Khan was the highlight of the IPL's glamorous opening ceremony, which took place at Kolkata's Eden Gardens on Saturday and included Bollywood performers Shreya Ghoshal and Disha Patani. Anirudh Ravichander, a well-known CSK supporter, declared he would be performing prior to the match. Videos that show him rehearsing at the location are making the rounds online. According to the article, a dancing group will accompany the 34-year-old, and his performance will start at 6:30 p.m. and conclude right before the match throw. "Stadium gates will open to the general public from 4:30 PM onwards to accommodate fans eager to participate in the festivities," the Chennai Super Kings stated in a statement.
