Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated the Barbados Royals by eight wickets in Providence, securing their place in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) final for 2024. After winning the toss, Imran Tahir chose to field first. He and the other bowlers functioned as a cohesive team to limit and chase out the Royals, who eventually scored 148 runs.
Although there were many beginnings on the Royals' batting board, nobody took the innings by storm and went on to produce a significant score as the wickets fell. Quinton de Kock gave Gudakesh Motie a straightforward caught and bowled opportunity, and Romario Shepherd gave the Warriors the crucial wicket of Rahkeem Cornwall with a reexamined leg before wicket call.
Guyana Amazon Warriors win the CPL 2024 Qualifier 2:
The Royals were under significant strain following the reversal of the on-field decision, from which they never really recovered, even though Cornwall was playing well. The Warrior's bowling lineup divided the wickets, with Moeen Ali delivering a pivotal spell with the ball in hand once again.

Ali speared in 13 dot balls and picked up two wickets, finishing with 2/24. Shepherd finished with 3/35. The Royal's innings faltered to an end as two run-outs occurred due to some erratic running in the scramble for late runs. With confidence, the Warriors attacked the total and won the game, securing their spot in Sunday's championship within 15 overs.
At the top of the order, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Moeen Ali hammered the ball everywhere. Gurbaz went out for a quick 40 off 18 balls with four sixes, while Ali finished unbeaten on 44 off 35 balls to cap off a fantastic all-around performance in a pivotal match. With just two runs needed to win, Shai Hope scored a stylish half-century before being yorked by Ramon Simmonds. A few balls later, Player of the Match Moeen Ali struck the game-winning single off his pads.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors easily defeated the Barbados Royals, setting up a chance for them to win the CPL again in a row. The winning run was scored with 33 balls remaining unused. There are Saint Lucia Kings waiting in what looks to be an exciting finale to the 2024 competition.
