Aakash Chopra reacts to Sanju Samson's Father's Controversial Remark

Sanju Samson is playing at his best. In recent T20Is, the Kerala batsman scored two consecutive hundreds. In the first Twenty20 International of the current four-match series in the Rainbow Nation, he first hit 111 off 47 balls against Bangladesh and then a magnificent 107 off 50 balls against South Africa. In a T20I match against Zimbabwe in 2015, Samson made his debut for India. The batsman is currently making headlines for a different cause, even though he is having the time of his life playing for India.

When Sanju Samson's father criticized Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli, Aakash Chopra responded. According to Aakash Chopra, Sanju Samson's father didn't have to hold Rahul Dravid, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli responsible for squandering ten years of his son's career.

The hitter Sanju Samson has been sporadically included in the Indian squad. His devoted social media following consistently calls for the batter to receive enough support. It's interesting to note that Samson's father recently claimed that senior Indian players and past players prevented his son from receiving adequate opportunities. However, Aakash Chopra, a former cricket player for India, called the statement "unnecessary."

Aakash Chopra says it is 'unnecessary':

On a YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra stated, "Sanju Samson's father has said something very interesting. He put Ji after Kohli, Dhoni, Rohit and Dravid's names and said that they spoiled 10 years of his son's career. I start thinking is it even necessary? I will be very honest. Since I am a father, I can tell you that fathers are biased. Our children are the dearest to us and we don't see any of their shortcomings. The same must be true for my father. He might be saying that Aakash was wronged and he also should have got more opportunities" 

He further added, "We have seen this in Yograj Singh and Yuvraj Singh's case. Yograj Singh says something and then Yuvi is unable to figure out what he should say. He wants to disassociate himself, that he doesn't think like that. So the fathers' comments don't help. What will you gain from it? Whatever has passed has passed."

For the unversed, Vishwanath, the father of Sanju Samson, claimed in a social media video that Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit, and Dravid were to blame for squandering ten years of his son's cricketing career. Sanju was denied the possibilities, according to Vishwanath, who also said that the difficulties strengthened him.
