With five Indian Premier League (IPL) championships, the Mumbai Indians (MI) have an outstanding record. But with a change of leadership, the squad had its most difficult IPL 2024 season. MI is committed to changing its fortunes as it gets ready for the 2025 Indian Premier League. The performance of the team's batters, many of whom have produced game-winning innings at pivotal times, is a major factor in its success.
Mumbai had a great franchise in its early years thanks to players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sanath Jayasuriya, and Shaun Pollock. Later, players like Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds, and Mitchell Johnson arrived. They never hesitated to invest in top-tier cricket players, and as a result, Mumbai has played host to several cricketing greats.
